What do you think of this charity shop dress?

I just want something practical and OK looking to wear to work (fairly formal environment, all the men wear suits). It’s Sisley and feels like a really nice fabric, comfy although tailored sleeves restrict arm movements. What do you reckon?

It'll be fine.

I'd wear it with a belt too.

The style suits you, looks fab and smart but only you know how comfy it will feel.

Sounds like it'll go through a wash just fine though. (Probably a normal cycle even.)

And I think it looks really good. I'd probably pair it with pumps or shoes of some kind rather than boots. Although in the current weather, all bets are off.

The arms are the perfect length to accentuate your lovely slim waist op

I normally just stalk S&B but I had to drop in to say that is a beautiful dress on you, incredibly flattering to your shape

Nice dress and probably well made if Sisley but I think it is too big for you, especially around the neckline ( I can see your lace strap). The shoulder seam is too long and the sleeve is probably supposed to end above the elbow. I feel it needs "hoicking up" at the shoulder seams. I have this problem as I am 5ft 3 and short waisted.

It's lovely, really suits your shape. I can never find anything in charity shops

I
Like it, and would also shorten the sleeves just a little.
