Gel Nails at Home Kit

Can anyone recommend a really good gel nail kit please?

I've been going to the salon since forever to have them done (with gel extensions) but have recently moved to having my own nails and gel colour. The issue is that it's not really saving me any money as it still costs quite a bit to gage them dive every few weeks.

I've been looking for a kit with the nail colours and UV light to cure them but I font know where to start. Any suggestions would be good please.Smile

Please ignore typos, currently dealing with a naughty kitten climbing all over me!

I’ve got the MyGel kit and am very happy with it. The starter kit is on amazon for about £55.

I also think we need a pic of the kitten!

Agree that the Mygel kits are good - I got mine on eBay for £60 for uv lamp, prep & remover, top & base coat, four varnishes and lint-free wipes.

I’ve got the Mylee kit, I think it was £35. I’ve bought the Blue Sky top coat and colours from EBay. Most are around £6.50.
I find my nails last a week...which for me is great as normal nail polish lasts about an hour.
I’ve not got the time to get to a salon to get them done so I’m happy to spend an hour of an evening doing them in front of the telly.

Here is the offending article...

Another question...how do you remove the old gel before putting on new?

File the shine off, soak cotton wool in acetone and cover with tin foil or soak in acetone in a bowl.
I like the manicure company gels. X

You can also buy peel-off base coat to make removal easier.

I've got the Mylee one and it works great, I have various makes of varnishes I get them off Ebay and Amazon some last 2 weeks which is great. I'm also really naughty and peel them off.
