It does look strange. Is there a narrative? Has she killed a very small dinosaur and roasted it?

No narrative at all....

Checking other copies would be the way forward but I live at the end of a wood so I'm not going anywhere till the wind dies down....

I normally quite like the bonkers Vogue shoots but I never attempt to understand them - I just kind of go with it. Some of them can be a bit creepy though and that might be one of them.

I have no idea really but that is what popped into my head when pondering possible meaning.
