Is this foundation any good? I normally use the essentially natural but I've heard good reviews about this.

Is it on a par with Clinique too?

It's the best I've ever used.
I have (among others) tried Chanel Vitalu iere, lift Lumiere, Les Beiges, Dior Fusion, Lancome Teint Idole, Armani Luminous Silk, Charlotte Tilbury, YSL éclat etc etc etc.

No more. The n7 is the bollocks.

It’s fabulous!
I use it. I’m 48. It’s like a second skin imo

citygirl1961 · 08/02/2020 21:46

Thanks for your replies, which shade do you use?

withlotsoflove · 08/02/2020 21:49

I’m very fair but not alabaster, and l use calico!

withlotsoflove · 08/02/2020 21:49

I think it’s the second lightest?

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 08/02/2020 21:50

I'm Calico too.

withlotsoflove · 08/02/2020 21:51

I can show you a picture of me in it. If you’d like?

snappycamper · 08/02/2020 21:55

I love it, I've ditched Lancôme for it. I'm quite pale and use cool vanilla. They can use a little scanner in the shop to colour match you and mine is perfect.

citygirl1961 · 08/02/2020 22:00

Withlotsoflove, oh please yes if you can show me a photo, thanks.

I've just switched and love it. I use warm ivory.

You can see how it’s invisible really!

Deemail · 08/02/2020 22:07

It's ok, doesn't last though when I remove my makeup very little foundation comes off on the cloth.

LetsAskaRobot · 08/02/2020 22:09

I do really like it when first applied but after a few hours it looks really powdery and settles into all my lines!

I wear Calico in no7 (I wear the stay perfect foundation most days) but strangely it looks particularly pale in the hydro luminous, I might try a shade darker.

VivaLeBeaver · 08/02/2020 22:15

I like it. Only time someone has ever complimented me on my foundation has been when I’ve been using this one.

citygirl1961 · 08/02/2020 23:00

Withlotsoflove, that looks great - as do you. Can I also ask what lipstick and eyeliner you have on in the photo?

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 08/02/2020 23:40

I was really disappointed, it aged me terribly and looked really 'makeuppy.'

Riv12345 · 09/02/2020 01:01

No 7

As Clinique test on animals!!!!

Wanderlustnearorfar · 09/02/2020 01:12

@withlotsoflove how are you 48?? You look fabulous

InglouriousBasterd · 09/02/2020 01:13

Works brilliantly for me - very light but long lasting. Also a calico! Just gone back from DW to it and it’s so much better on my skin.

withlotsoflove · 09/02/2020 01:30

Hi @citygirl1961 ~ thank u
It’s just a bit of body shop eyeliner / l think grey?
Ok my lips l have rummy pink lip liner from Beauty pie : mixed with Charlotte Tilbury KimKW lipstick!
@Wanderlustnearorfar ~ thank u 😊

dontgobaconmyheart · 09/02/2020 04:45

It always gets so much love on here. I don't get it! I find it leaves an odd sheen on the skin, doesn't last long at all and the coverage is both bad for blemishes but also somehow looks slightly cakey also.

What I will say is that it goes very pale, which I am, and blends amazingly well. I use it to mix with something else which works for me

cad186 · 09/02/2020 07:19

I love it!

withlotsoflove · 09/02/2020 07:26

I use a damp beauty blender to apply mine ( btw)
It helps with an even distribution. Smile

Nat6999 · 09/02/2020 10:36

I've just started using Revlon photo ready candid anti pollution foundation, great coverage, I don't need to use concealer for my under eye black rings. It is the first foundation that doesn't have any orange/brown tones to it I have found that matches my skin tone perfectly. I use a foundation brush to apply, only need a tiny amount, if I want a very natural sheer almost tinted moisturiser look, I put a tiny amount of moisturiser on my brush & the foundation from previous applications mixes to give a dewy look.
