Urgent help needed - do I get my hair coloured tomorrow?

Last week I was supposed to have a cut & colour but the colour (a semi permanent all over medium brown a la Katie Holmes) was rearranged for tomorrow morning.

I had my long hair cut to a shoulder length blunt long bob & for the last couple of days I have been left with my old blonde balayage.

The more I see it, the more I really like the balayage on my shorter hair. Now I’m second guessing myself. Do I stick with the balayage or go ahead with the brown colour? FYI I’m an Autumn colouring.

I think you're right, I prefer the baylayage. Esp going into spring /summer.

I think it looks lovely as it is! Personally I'd keep it for now and then go brown at a later date but you can't go wrong either way!

I normally cringe at lighter ends and dark roots, but yours doesn't look too un-natural as it is. Looks like it was natually sun bleached rather than from a bottle.

It looks good but is that funny lighting or are your roots a lighter colour?

Why is it this urgent? If there’s a cancellation fee, it’s usually more than a few hours....

Oh leave it, it's gorgeous! The kind of thing that would take ages to achieve if you were trying to get it but it's happened perfectly by some happy miracle!

I’m just going to be honest, I don’t love your hair as it is. It could look better.

Either go dark or refresh your balayage - the tone is brassy and it would look nicer if you took it a bit higher up. At the very least, get a toner.

I think it would look so nice if you had some lighter pieces around your face, ask your stylist to explain what a “money piece” is, you might be interested in it
