.....similar to Joy by Dior. I absolutely love this, but I'm nearly 2/3rds of the way down a bottle and DH asked me today why I've stopped wearing perfume Sad. I spray liberally in the morning but by the time I get to work, there is no smell left at all. I don't know if it's my skin or the perfume, but I'm gutted. I'm not organised enough to take the bottle with me and refresh it during the day Grin

Can anyone think of a similar smell with better silage??

Fragrantica says Allure by Chanel
You could try getting the body lotion, or applying it over some Vaseline or similar on your wrists

Oh and ask someone else to sniff you! It could be you and DH are so used to the scent you can't smell it

I'll have a look at Allure, thank you. And good idea about the body lotion, think it was on allbeauty.

Not exact dupes, but Chanel Allure, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, and SJP Lovely are of a similar theme.

Alternatively, Perfume Parlour do a version of Joy and you might find that an oil has better longevity on your skin: link

I don’t know Joy, but have you tried putting it on over unscented body lotion? Sometimes perfume needs a moist base to stick to. Having the matching body lotion also helps, and feels like a treat.

I have a gazillion perfumes - fully paid up member of the perfumista thread - but do find I can’t smell my scent very well if I wear the sa,e thing a few days in a row. I think it’s like that ad for cleaning products where it talks about being “nose blind”! Whatever I wear, I tend to do a spray on my neck when I am fresh out of the shower while I wait for my moisturiser to sink in, then another spray up my top just before I head out the door.
