Party dress help!

Have been invited to a 50th birthday party - everything I try on just doesn't seems to be a bit too casual 😬

I'm 35, 5'11 and a curvy 12 with big boobs & bum so things to tend to look a bit matronly on me.

Please does anyone have any recommendations for where to look? Thankyou x

Topshop do nice midi dresses ,show off your curves. New look do nice ones aswell. X

Apologies I didn't proof read that...I think I meant to write a mixture of "doesn't seem right" and "seems to casual"

I can't add a pic yet as I'm a new user...I was thinking of a polka dot midi skirt, off the shoulder top and my leather jacket but in practice it looks a bit too casual.

ASOS does a tall range with lots of party dresses. Perfect for your height.

Ok I think I have found one...although not sure it is party enough (or whether I can get away with it as don't normally bare my shoulders)! Would be very grateful for opinions!

Very nice.

OP I think that looks great on you, you have a lovely and very enviable figure! I think with a bright stiletto or some sandals that would be a perfect outfit 👌🏻

Far too kind!!
I didn't think of bright shoes, will have a little look for some! Thank you x
