Best Home Hair Colour to Cover Grey Hairs

Hi ladies
I usually get my hair coloured every 3 weeks. I am 36 and my grey hairs are ridiculous now. I go to a salon but the £60-70 for each colour every 3 weeks is getting too much.
I am also growing my hair out and always cut my own fringe to a decent standard that it is only the colour.
What are good home colours? Semi permanent would be perfect but they do not usually cover my stubborn greys.

Many thanks

The best home colour I have found is Schwarzkopf Poly Colour Tint - it is a permanent dye, however I do find it does wash up/fade over a few weeks on my hair.

I don’t have many greys, but I do have super resistant stubborn roots, that most other home dyes just don’t cover, yet this Schwarzkopf one covers them brilliantly. There’s not many shades to choose from though, I choose Natural Brown/Medium Brown & it leaves me with a lovely natural mid brown, no red tones. I think there’s only 1 or 2 blonde shades though. Oh and it’s £2 from Wilkos, Asda or Home Bargains. You don’t get a conditioner with it, just use your own.

I like Olia by Garnier. It's oil based, doesn't stink to high heaven and it much more gentle on the scalp. My hair is around 90% grey and it covers very well.

I buy the dye that hairdressers use - L’Oreal Majirel colour & then the separate developer. I like that I can mix up as much or as little as I need so I just touch up my greys every few weeks and then occasionally do a full head (disclaimer: I have no idea whether this is the ‘right’ way to do it or not, it’s just what works for me)

Also use majirel and mix with 20 vol peroxide..very good on grey hair.

Daniel Field and Herbatint are gentle and have far less chemicals
