“Wow” dress for date night

Hi all, I’ve got a dinner event next Mon with DH and I’m hoping to use it to, ahem, get our mojo back, shall we say, after DC2.

I’m blonde, 5’5”, pale, quite evenly proportioned and used to be a size 10 but am 8 weeks postpartum (so roughly the same size but now squishy and carrying an extra 5-7kgs...). Trying to kickstart DH into seeing me as a wife instead of just a mother again, and he tends to like classic jewel tones esp blue. I like figure hugging outfits but my bras are currently giving me an unattractive bulge in the middle of my silhouette. I hate having my upper arms uncovered. It’s a semi-formal event, so something classy but sexy...?

I’m in London so can get to most stores, can also go online but it’s already Tues night... Any ideas please?

TL;DR - looking for a classy, sexy dress that doesn’t expose upper arms, for 5 days’ time.

Sadly not but thanks for all the suggestions. DS has suspected chickenpox so we’re quarantined at home and I’ve been juggling him plus baby, not had a spare second. I’m not convinced by the high necked designs, and I loved the dark teal Reiss dress- but it has exposed arms. Was looking on FCUK as they sometimes have amazing dresses, but nothing has stood out to me yet...

Well I did get to the shops.

Also found two lovely dresses in John Lewis, Max Studio, will attach pics in a sec but they’re not quite sexy enough for Monday... but they are flattering!

Very forgiving shape and so comfortable.

Confused - title says date yet post is about meal with husband 🤣. A date is with someone you don't live with not a DH or steady boyfriend.

It's a fairly recent term (first used by David Cameron, I think).
