Quality cotton, fitted long sleeve scoop neck - wanted!

I'm fed up of all my thin tops going raggy or getting holes from rubbing against my jeans waistband. These are getting impossible to find, I used to get Boden essential long sleeve scoop necks, but they don't seem to have them anymore.

I know what you mean! The Betty Barclay ones I bought from John Lewis online have kept their shape and colour so far.

I have some from Hobbs that cost £30 and many, many more from Primark for £4.50. I honestly can’t tell the difference between the £30 ones and the £4.50 ones. They are similar weight, quality and finish and length and they all wash well. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if someone told me they were made in the same factory.

I've got one from Jaegar but it's really old and I don't know if they do them any more. I'm a short arse but find Hobbs ones too short.

Really hope somebody can point us to some decent ones, as I'm getting desperate!

Gap is great for these kinds of basics. If you like your tops on the longer side, order a tall size.

I second Jigsaw - they are double lined at the front and i've got one that has lasted for ages.

The Jigsaw ones look good - but if you are looking for something a bit cheaper I have bought these from Next. They seem to be a basic item each year, and on multibuy you get 3 for £18. They keep their shape and last well, and the neckline is flattering.

Jigsaw are good for these types of tops - the double front ones. I have various others which have either gone shapeless or got those holes in the front (American Vintage, Boden I am looking at you)

Thanks all. I managed to get a Jigsaw one in the sale! And Next look good too, unfortunately I'm too small to get a size that fits properly.
