School trousers for tall thin girl

DD 12 is very tall and thin. She goes to a school where the uniform for girls is a skirt or logoed girls trousers in one particular style. This style does not fit her at all, and she walks a long distance each day to school in all weathers. Apparently girls can wear boys trousers without a logo because the sort of girls who would be asked by the school to wear trousers are the sort who wear their skirts too short and therefore cannot be trusted to come in in proper trousers, hence having to wear the logo trousers but boys trousers cannot be made to look indecent . Let's not even explore that avenue further!

My problem is that she is currently about 5'6" and really, really skinny. I've measured her and we are looking for a 25-26" waist with 32" inside leg. I can't find anything in navy boys' (or even girls) school trousers with that measurement. She's currently wearing either 26" waist, 30" leg trousers which stop above her ankle, or 29" waist 32" leg which are bunched up round her waist but fit her legs.

I've tried getting her to wear skirts from a pov of easy shopping for me, but she wants to wear trousers and is allowed to, so why should i stop her - if only I could find any that fit!

I get dd the slim fit trousers from next. In grey but could see if they do them in navy.

Next slim fit girls trousers tried and returned. They were 'too wide in the waist, too narrow in the legs, and too like jeans in their styling.' I bought her the age 15 slim, which were the right length but she had nothing else good to say about them. Back to the drawing board!

My dd is 16 and the same , we ended up woth boys Asda trousers age 13-14.. they all wear them ankle length now with black socks .
