Cropped wide leg trousers - still on trend?

Picked up a pair of these in a charity shop. Lots of people were wearing them last spring - summer - autumn with flat sandals, trainers.

Still on trend for this spring?! I can easily alter them to a slimmer leg if not.

I’ve seen a lot of people styling these with chunky Chelsea boots

I was going to post saying I love them, but with my size arse, they may look more like two yurts being dragged along by my body.
