Adverts for Trinny Miracle Blur and Just a Touch foundation keep popping up on my instagram. Any good?
I’m quite tempted, but am supposed to be cutting down on makeup Hmm

According to the reviews it's expensive for what it is.

tigerbear · 01/02/2020 23:51

Thanks @MrsPellegrino
Just found an old thread, and people said it’s overpriced and gimmicky

I know it's tempting ,I've been eyeing it too but there's so much good make up out there these days and it's really expensive for little pots.

IjustbelieveinMe · 02/02/2020 02:13

I really like the BFF cream and will probably continue to use it, but I have gone back to using powder based bronzer and face powder because I felt the cream versions did not last or give enough depth. The lip pots are very drying too.

TapertandEdkins · 02/02/2020 04:54

I love the BFF Eye though the pot is tiny, however I only use a little. I also like the BFF. I like the lip to cheek, though it feels a little dry when I apply to my lips but I always get commets on how good it looks.

Shambolical1 · 06/02/2020 00:40

I liked the eyeshadow colours and tried a couple but reacted to them, which is most unusual.

PattiPrice · 06/02/2020 01:23

There is a Facebook page called Trinny tribe or something like that where (many) people sell unwanted Trinny make up, which says everything really. It is worth buying an unused pot from someone instead of paying full price on the website.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 07/02/2020 05:23

I bought the BFF and Just a Touch. I like the concept of 'the stack' but didn't like the shiny mess they made on my combination skin. And yes, overpriced!

I now use the BFF under my mineral foundation, which seems to work. And I use the Just a Touch as a sort of light concealer on no make up days. But nevee use them both together. I won't be repurchasing.

Purplecatshopaholic · 07/02/2020 07:50

I like the BFF cream and also the Miracle Blur. But I do think they are overpriced so not sure if I will repurchase.

GeorgianaD · 07/02/2020 07:55

Emperor’s new clothes I imagine. Know someone who swears by the range but I think she’s just taken in by Trinny herself Hmm

Sarcelle · 07/02/2020 08:25

I have tried quite a lot, my verdict is not great quality or value for money. I was not impressed with BFF. I have had lots of the lip products, as another has mentioned, they are drying. Would never repurchase.

The Miracle Blur is good but the lip colours aren’t worth the money. The stacking pots idea is a good concept but in reality they don’t fit together well. I think they’d shake apart if I carried them around in my handbag all day.

Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives123 · 07/02/2020 18:39

I was gifted BFF and loved it because it gave a good colour and blended to match my skin tone, although did not last all day. I used it sparingly as I knew it was expensive. I also cut it to use up every last drop, which I've never done with any other product. However I cannot bring myself to purchase a new one for £35, it's just not worth that as it doesn't last long enough. It was my 'school run' or 'out for lunch' make up.

tigerbear · 09/02/2020 08:30

Thanks for all the advice everyone, don’t think I’ll be purchasing!
