What shall I do with my hair (pic)

My hair is neither straight or curly but somewhere in between. I need something low maintenance. What restyle do u think I should for? Add colour to lift it? Fringe? I feel it is very flat at the sides...suggestions welcome 😀

I think a change of parting would help OP, a side parting perhaps and get a long side fringe and a trim. I think the middle parting doesn't flatter the way your hair sits and leaves it looking flatter at the top, which a different parting might avoid.

Do you dye it at home usually?

I'd go for a side parted curly bob. Something like one of the images below

I would get a lot cut off and lots of layers with a side fringe sweeping from a deep side parting. You want to add volume and texture. It will be weighted down by the length. Some highlights would also help this and a pomade to smooth it. Another tip is dry it forward towards your face so it doesn’t go back the way.

I think your hair is curly. Do you use shampoos and conditioners etc for curly hair? I think treating it as curly rather than wavy or frizzy or whatever, you'll see a more defined curl pattern. Same for hair cuts. Look up ones that are for curly hair. There's a chart somewhere with curl and wave types on it. If you work out which you are, that might make it easier to search.

Hard to tell from photo but I'd guess you're at least 2b atm, maybe 2c? So wavy at least. (Ignore that third chart, the Andre one, descriptions seem off.)

millefiori's suggestion of a just below chin-length curly bob with a few layers and a fringe would look great and the shorter length will enable you to encourage more curl in your hair.

Sorry been away. Thanks everyone I will definitely go the way you suggest. It is curly and I do use curly shampoo etc. It is less obvious when my hair is longer as the weight seems to pull them a bit straighter. Shorter, side fringe l, layers and a bit of colour will be my aim at the next appointment Smile
