Can anyone help me with my first world problem?

The metal clip that attaches the strap on to my Amberley satchel sometimes undoes suddenly when I am walking along, and the bag then drops off my shoulder.

(The clips are meant to undo by squeezing, but surely not as easily as this?)

Anyone else have this issue? Wondering if it is worth contacting manufacturer to see if it can be sorted.

I have this too! It is so annoying. Can you report back how you get on with them?

I haven’t got of those bags but it sounds rubbish so I’d definitely want to get it sorted.

You’ve got a pretty good case for ‘not fit for purpose’ so they should either repair it free of charge or offer you an exchange.

No hugely helpful tips as I'd almost certainly be looking for the manufacturer to replace it, that sounds like such a pain.

You have all spurred me on to email customer services - will report back @whataconundrum with their response.

@whataconundrum So the result is that they are sending me out two replacement hinge rings. Hopefully that will sort the issue. You should do the same
