What do you use to store your brushes and pencils? I think I want something like a makeup brush roll but really struggling to find one that doesnt come with new brushes and that has enough space for the 30 odd items it needs to hold. Looking for recommendations please

I use Morphe tubby cases as I own a lot of make up brushes and tools, then take a limited selection of these in a Mac brush roll when I'm travelling.

I haven't seen these! Will have a look thank you

Have a look at Ellis James on Amazon. I recently bought a case from there and I was surprised by the quality for the price. It looks dead smart and keeps everything organized

Thank you! Nice range you're right!

I have some plastic storage drawers from a stationary shop (not massive ones, just a smallish set of three drawers) and I have brushes in two of the drawers when they’re not in use. I have three sets so have make up in the other drawers. I use a cup for the ones I’m using, which I wash and switch up weekly.

Yeah I use drawers too for all my makeup and tools but it's a pain to carry around. I don't have a dressing table. I used to have a tool box but that wasn't right either.

It depends how many brushes you have

I have enough to fill two of those plastic drawers so would be too much for a brush roll but if you have fewer then that might work

You could put them in a box like a shoe box or plastic storage box or a large make up bag.

Why do you need to carry all of your brushes around at once?

I use a couple of ‘Skurar’ plant pots from Ikea.

I'm needing something for about 30 brushes and pencils. They're in a drawer but they're all muddled up. I'm thinking a roll will be able to find what I want faster and it's portable

What I really need is a dressing table grrr

Yeah I’m setting up a home office currently and plan to set up a dressing table too if I can

I think a box or big make up bag is fine if you are only going in there once a week or so. You could get a clear box or make up bag so you can see them. Or do you use them all at once? You could probably look on amazon if it’s a brush roll you want.

I have a lot of brushes so each week I take out one of each kind of brush I need: a foundation brush, a concealer brush, blusher brush etc and put them in a cup brush holder and they’re the brushes I use every dah for that week. Every thing else stays in the drawers. I do spot clean them in between with alcohol and a cloth but on a weekend I wash them all and leave them to dry and then I take out a new “set” for the week ahead...
