Tips for dealing with greasy hair

My hair is always greasy!

I'm so sick of it. I use dry shampoo sometimes but it doesn't have much of an effect. I don't touch it a lot (it's always up in a ponytail/bun), so I don't know where I'm going wrong.

does anyone have any tips? I'm going to wash it before I go to bed. I have heard using conditioner before shampoo helps.

Is this true? Will try anything at the moment!

How often are you washing it?
Give it a really good brush through before you wash, use hot water, shampoo twice and only condition the very ends.
Wash it in the morning instead of at night so it's at least fresh for that day.
Get some high lights.
Use shampoo and conditioner with no silicone.
Herbal essences zero range is quite good for an affordable brand.
