What is this type of necklace called?

I’d like a necklace, a short chain, which has pearls or beads strung out across it but with spaces in between, anyone know if there is a name for this?

This is not a great example as it’s stung with nylon and there are too many pearls but this type of thing:

Tiffany’s do a diamond necklace like this called “by the yard” when I googled pearl by the yard necklace quite a lot came up and the official name seems to be Tin Cup or Station pearl necklace. No idea why.

Yes, after more searching, I think it is station, assume referring to the way the pearls or beads are stops on a track! Found a few nice ones on Etsy now
