Dyson hair dryer vs air wrap

I've asked for vouchers for my birthday to buy a Dyson hair dryer/product as my current hair dryer is ancient and takes forever to dry my thick, mid length hair and leaves my hair feeling dry/frizzy so I have to go over it several times in layers with GHDs.

I thought the dyson air wrap included the hair dryer, but looking at it online is it actually just loads of tools to curl/straighten etc? It says it does dry damp hair while styling, but I'm after a proper hair dryer really, that will dry my hair quickly, well and give it a better finish.

Can anyone who has one or the other products advise?

The Airwrap does have an attachment for drying but it’s not angled and not as powerful as a normal “good” hairdryer.

I've got the Air Wrap. The hairdryer attachment is v good (so good that I never use my Parlaux anymore). I can use it dry my hair but I tend to just use it to rough dry and then use the brush or round brush attachments to style as they give a better finish.

I use the curling attachements on my hair from wet if I want the cursl to last.

I got an airwrap for Christmas. As well as the wrap tools (two different sizes) it has a kind of paddle brush attachment and a hairdryer attachment. If the picture loads, this is the one we got.
