Hello everyone
I am in my mid-30s 4ft9 size 10/12. Normally I wear just jeans, jeggings with jumpers but I really want to look nice and neat every day. I like Mid-length dresses and love to wear skirts but don't know which type of skirt would suit me. Please, ladies, HELP!!
TIA

Book a session with a JL personal shopper and ask to have the session based around this .

Good suggestion to book a personal shopping session. Also, try following petite ladies on Insta such as StealMyStyle40.

If you post a full length photo people will be better able to advise on what styles might suit you. Otherwise you can look at celebrities or people in the public eye who have a similar shape to yours. Once you’ve identified a few women who wear the kinds of things you would like to wear, compile a list of what base pieces you would need. Pinterest is always good for general inspiration.

which outlines how the OP did what you want to do, in a very methodical way. It’s a great approach to building a new wardrobe and avoids wasting money without a clear vision and direction. 👍

Last year I booked a session with a Colour Me Beautiful consultant.

She was amazing, spent 5 hours with me, helped me go with through my wardrobe (chucked over 50% of it which was scary and liberating at the same time) and gave me a ton of advice about what to choose and what suited me, and WHY.

Honestly, it was transforming. I'm in my 50s and wish I'd done it decades ago. I'd have saved loads of money on clothes I bought but never wore, and things that didn't really suit me.

Ohh I am also a fan of a Midi dress/skirt and jumper combo :)

Surprisingly I have found some really love styles at Mistral, found them through an influencer Pia Grace!

Love the long tumbling flower skirt - www.mistral-online.com/skirts-c414/long-tumbling-flowers-skirt-p32128

and the coffee Yolanda skirt - www.mistral-online.com/skirts-c414/woven-printed-coffee-yolanda-long-skirt-p32232

I had seen them on my local high street but never really thought much, they have seemed to up their game in terms of clothes, I prefer there new season to seasalt and whitestuff (Much more colour and better styles)

Good jumpers too!
