Aaargh, another panic this afternoon as DH's woollen jumpers all seem to have stupidly changed shape after the last clean....the last one was a TK Maxx one (Paul Costelloe), but I've fucked up Uniqlo, Zara, White Stuff etc before now too. They seem to change in different ways too - some turn into an odd shape, or the arms seem to shrink or stretch, others (thick woolly ones) texture goes all crap.
I've tried a number of different things - 20oC wash, delicates wash, wool wash, no spin, low spin, hand drying, hand drying not on a radiator, drying flat. What the fuck am I doing wrong?!?
I want to keep washing and ironing them for him (as he's having to commute half way across the country each week and I work from home) but I'm either clearly bloody useless at it or buying the wrong brands
Any recommendations/links for specific jumpers that are any good, washing techniques or tips how to unfuck the 5 I've currently got languishing around? Or anything else like buying a size up to allow for shrinkage?
