Do you like this jumper?

I've bought 3 jumpers, off to NYC and want something I can wear day to evening with jeans and boots.
I am totally undecided on this one so would welcome opinions Smile

Do you like this jumper?

Yes.

AnuvvaMuvva · 27/01/2020 15:06

Um. Sorry. No. It's the lace. Theoretically lace should look nice on a jumper but (IME) it never does.

Bella2020 · 27/01/2020 15:13

I love it! A simple jumper that's been given a bit of interest with the lacyv panel. I would wear that daytime with jeans and evening with tailored trousers or even a mid length skirt.

kelpie35 · 27/01/2020 15:18

no

PurpleDaisies · 27/01/2020 15:26

No. I don’t like the lace panel at all.

user1494055864 · 27/01/2020 15:31

I bought one similar to this for Christmas, the year before last, but never wore it. Then I wore it for the first time recently, with black jeans for a day to night thing, and it looked lovely, and I couldn't believe I'd left it sitting in my wardrobe for a year!

ZaraW · 27/01/2020 15:33

No, it's not my style.

MyFamilyAndOtherAnimals1 · 27/01/2020 15:33

I like the design, but I don't think I'd like the feel of the material? Especially if its Lipsy - their stuff is often made quite cheaply and thus feels quite scratchy. Because of that, I think I'd wear it a couple of times, but I'd rarely reach for it.

HappyDinosaur · 27/01/2020 15:33

I really like it.

Newnamewhodis1 · 27/01/2020 15:34

What's it made of? Acrylic? Plastic crap? Won't be warm if so

BuffyBeat · 27/01/2020 15:35

I really like it!

CountFosco · 27/01/2020 15:36

No. But I'm not Lipsy's target demographic. Think rhe lace panel looks cheap.

lazylinguist · 27/01/2020 15:36

No, I think the lace bit looks really tacky tbh.

professionalnomad · 27/01/2020 15:48

I like it too!

BailOutChapsGingersGornSquiffy · 27/01/2020 15:49

Not sure about the triangle shapes on the bust.

I’ve got this Warehouse one which is similar but nicer neckline (I think). It’s is very cosy and looks great with black jeans or coloured pencil skirt.

No. I think it looks cheap/ tacky!

user1471449295 · 27/01/2020 15:53

Yes. It’s a black jumper with lace detailing. Personally I can’t see what’s not to like

dontgobaconmyheart · 27/01/2020 15:56

It could like nice tucked into a high waisted skirt or an on trend cut of jean's with some heels but anything else and I think it's got the whiff of Bon Marche about it- not a fan OP. I don't mind the lace interest as such but I think it's the cut of the jumper that is the issue, it would look cooler as an oversized fit, casually thrown off the shoulder.

With that being said it certainly isn't appalling and could be styled and look good I'm sure.

WorraLiberty · 27/01/2020 15:58

I love it.

I'd like one in cream.

Ginbauble · 27/01/2020 16:10

No, don't like the triangle shapes by the bust.

The other one a pp linked to is better.

But I don't like lace on a jumper really, looks odd to me!

Glitterb · 27/01/2020 16:17

If you are going to NYC anytime soon then you will be cold in this!

MozzchopsThirty · 27/01/2020 18:43

Thank you all
I think the 'no's' have it

As my dd would say if you don't love it when you first put it on, you're not going to love it anymore later

Apileofballyhoo · 27/01/2020 18:52

Your DD is great, I must remember that one!

Usernamealreadyexists · 28/01/2020 14:02

Nope.
