Boots for buggy walks

I’d love some new ankle boots that are comfy and sturdy enough for long buggy walks, but I’m not looking for proper hiking/walking boots. Ideally something with a bit of grip and support. My current suede ankle boots aren’t supportive enough, and aren’t fairing very well in this wet, muddy weather. I’d prefer brown, grey or blue over black, and don’t mind whether they are laced, zipped, or some other sort of fastening. Has anyone got any ideas please?

Why not just buy medium weight hiking boots - mine are suede and have all the attributes you need. Look good too

I’m just after something that doesn’t look like a hiking boot I suppose, so I can walk to the shops, baby groups, the park etc in them, and feel slightly more stylish than if I was wearing hiking boots.

Have you tried in Clarks? I always like Merrell boots too but they're £££ unless you can find them in the sale. If you find the perfect boot please share - it's my eternal quest! Had some Merrell Decora Chant 5-6 years ago but they just sprung a leak and I can't afford to replace them yet.

What about Timberlands? They are ridiculously comfy!

I’d go timberlands, all colours and about £70 in the sale.
