Does this exist - moisturiser with spf in a glass jar?

As above - has anyone found one? I’m trying to reduce my use of plastic, but still want protection from the sun.

I use moisturiser with spf in winter (when I am barely outside in daylight anyway) and proper sun screen the rest of the year, so interested in either :)

I avoid glass jars - www.paulaschoice.com/expert-advice/skincare-advice/anti-aging-wrinkles/skin-care-packaging-matters-why-you-should-ditch-jars.html

Sorry, completely unhelpful, but I thought I should share this info.

If you really really want glass jar, make sure it comes with a spatula, so you don't put your fingers in

It's only SPF15 but I use other sun protection. There are others in the range for different skin types

Thanks both!

I do particularly want a glass jar though. I otherwise use products from recycled plastic pots, which are also dipper style, and have experienced no ill effects so far. So I appreciate the information shared but will pursue my idea with glassy stubbornness;)

The Superdrug one comes in a glass pot

professionalnomad · 26/01/2020 15:32

I use this from Kiehl's - they have a non aging one too

RapidRainbow · 26/01/2020 15:46

Estee Lauder 15spf

I second the M&S cream, plus the non-spf sleep cream in the same range.

Feawen · 26/01/2020 16:45

Ooh thank you that’s a few to look at :)

I'm sure my Elemis creams are in glass jars and they come with little spatulas.

nothingwittyhere · 26/01/2020 17:12

The Boots No7 ones are in plastic. I've used a different M&S one in glass which was decent. Lids are plastic though.

Glad you're ignoring that American guff about jars being "unsanitary" 🙄 Much prefer a jar, they're more economical and easier to recycle.

The sainsburys own brand was in a glass jar the last time I used it, not sure if it still is but worth checking. Also not tested on animals.

Clarinet is glass although the lid is plastic

MrsWobble3 · 26/01/2020 19:48

Should say Clarins
