I am trying to update my wardrobe which is full of Primark clothes, which do not flatter me. It’s sooo hard though as I can’t find anything that will look ok. I am keen to buy a few pieces that will last and I don’t mind spending a bit on them - a lot more than Primark anyway!!

My problem is I am 5ft 2 with a short torso and I am a bit overweight (only a size 10-12 but still). Hourglass figure I suppose.... or maybe pear shaped but I have fairly big boobs.
Also I am probably a ‘winter’ in colouring, dark hair, quite pale, blue eyes and so I look best in strong colours, which I just can’t find anywhere! Everything seems to be muted colours which make me look washed out and much older.
I’m 35. Can anyone help!! I’m fed up with looking a mess/stuffy/lacking style and looking even larger than I am. Places like Cos seem to be too baggy for me. If I don’t emphasize my waist I look terrible! And whistles seems to have loads of midi dresses. I do wear these but I think knee length or just above is supposed to be more flattering for petites...
I am trying hard to lose weight by the way Smile
