Wearing black makes you look slimmer.

Wearing nude and beige makes you look, "expensive."

JoyceDivision · 25/01/2020 09:03

Women with large breasts should wear v necks and avoid boatnecks.

I look like a busty milkmaid in v necks!!

"Blue and green should never be seen"

Black goes with everything

  1. That you can't follow a trend if you wore it last time around.
  2. That looking good means looking younger.
  3. That skinny jeans are timeless.
  4. Serums.

That older women shouldn’t keep their hair long

AnnaMagnani · 25/01/2020 09:47

Horizontal stripes make you look fatter.

In fact. that 'avoiding looking fat' should be the sole purpose of dressing.

IndecentFeminist · 25/01/2020 09:48

Yup, flattering is the be all and end all.

Miseryisabutterfly · 25/01/2020 09:50

I think they accentuate a tummy Anna. Nothing wrong with that if the wearer is comfortable but I don’t think it’s a myth.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/01/2020 09:53

That you can have your colours diagnosed online (well maybe very very rarely for people who are bang in the middle of a season)

I have tiny legs, and non-low-cut dark coloured swimwear makes my legs look way wider and stumpier, so I'll take the high cut swimwear thing thanks 😂

MontanaSkies · 25/01/2020 10:30

That you should chuck out anything you haven't worn in the past year.

Floisme · 25/01/2020 10:33

Oh please don't stop doing that - I would have nowhere to shop.

Women with large breasts should wear v necks and avoid boatnecks.

Yes! v-necks & big boobs are the express train to frump town on me.
