Help I have ginger roots!

Hi guys I have a hot date tonight so thought I'd dye my hair purple like you do right before a frikkin date lol I used bleach all over first then washed it out the roots were slightly ginger but thought the purple box dye would be ok but woken up with purple lengths and ends but the roots are bloody ginger! What can I do besides shave it all off and cry till it grows back? Lol xx

You need a toner. Can you post a pic so I can see what we’re dealing with? Poor you though, what a nightmare! Xx

The hair! Lol I used 2 boxes of L'Oréal bleach and 2 boxes of live! Mauve kiss xx

I agree it looks baylage esque in those photos and I think you should just rock it rather than risk more product.

Your roots are definitely darker than the ends but honestly it looks fine! If you wanted to balance you could use head and shoulders on the ends and a purple shampoo on the roots (leave on at least 10 mins and ONLY the roots so 1-3cm from the scalp) but it really does look fine x

Your hair looks very fine and as if it holds a lot of water so don’t apply anymore dyeing/toning/stripping product and if you go the purple shampoo root apply it directly to you hair without wetting it first.

Oops tried a semi strand product and tried to even it a bit lol never mind there's bigger problems in the world lol thanks guys lol xx

I would dye over the whole lot in an auburn shade

Do not but anything red, brown or auburn over that! It will not only be Orange it’ll be frazzled! @SummersMahoosivrClipOnFringe why would you advise that?!

Put* not but! Don’t dye it again if anything keep washing the ends with head and shoulders and use vo5 llive Lilac only on the roots.
