New jewellery for my birthday

I'm 40 soon. I'd like some new jewellery I think, can't think of much else.
I don't wear rings and I don't like short necklaces but I like long necklaces (are these even still fashionable? I don't get out much but I thought they might look nice for work with a blouse?)
I also love earrings - my favourite pair being a leverback drop style which are quite heavy, randomly bought from Tesco a few years ago - can't seem to get anything like them when I search though.
Is rose gold still a thing, or are we going back to gold, silver, something else?
I like geometric styles and don't mind a little bit of bling.
Anyone recommend any brands or link to anything nice they've seen?

What about a longish necklace? I love the Alex monroe stuff especially the bumble bee (always get compliments) and pineapple. I’d probably buy silver just to ensure longevity?

I like the Carrie Elizabeth stuff, but haven't bought any, so don't know what the quality is like. Not on the high street is a good place to view different jewellery makers/brands.

What sort of budget are you thinking about?

Monica Vinader.

Choose your chain material (silver/ rose or yellow gold plated) and length and then chose a pendant charm to go on it.
Their customer service is excellent and they repair stuff if needed.

Alan Ardiff. The Princess and the pea in particular but the whole range is lovely.

I have a Carrie Elizabeth pendant and it's lovely.

I quite like a bit of Missoma for day wear.

liberty has a really good selection ( and currently a good discount) of jewellery and the selection of designers covers all budgets. Always loved visiting their jewellery demand now much of it is in my Pinterest presents for mum list! Have a browse and you may see something you love. I also have a necklace from posh totty which was personalised by my kids for a significant birthday and I wear it almost every day. You don't need to spend lots to get something you love

I'd like to get a few bits, totalling £200 ish, if that helps.
Really liking some of the Missoma silver stuff, thanks @NeckPainChairSearch

I can never find jewellery I love, but I am looking at a jewellery making day for my next birthday. The company I’m looking at is Noctua. They are based in Liverpool, but seem to do workshops all over the country..

Well, I've been to a local gift boutique to get a purse for my aunt and they had some nice Tutti and Co silver chains so I bought two, one is a pendant with a geometrical circle, it's adjustable so can be worn long or short, and one is a short chain with a small triangle pendant - both really simple and nice and on sale, so £50ish for the pair! Gift wrapped and put away for DH to give me, so he's happy. Now on the lookout for drop earrings!
