Dress for a wedding

Hello lovely ladies of S&B.. I'm after some recommendations for a dress to wear to a wedding of a very close friend at the end of March in Glasgow.

I'm trawling John Lewis, Karen Millen, REISS etc but not inspired by anything!

I'm 45, 5ft5, size 10, relatively slim, a bit straight up and down. Small boobs. Kind of average all over with no standout features.

My usual going out style is black jeans, silky vest top and cool trainers so I'm not great with dresses but would love to look glam for a change. Any ideas?

Not sure if your budget - maybe Kitri Studios or Anthropologie have something more inspiring.

Oh yes that would've been helpful!

Willing to pay up to £150 for the right dress!

I'd recommend Lavish Alice. I love their stuff!

Thanks all. Not a huge fan of Monsoon. Find it a bit middle aged mum. Even Though that's what I am!
