What's this red spot and what can I do about it?

I have had this small bright red lump on my face for a couple of years now and would like to hide/remove it. It looks like I have a permanent spot but doesn't hurt at all. My normal foundation doesn't cover it at all and I'm not sure regular concealer would either. Can anyone recommend maybe a fuller coverage concealer or is there some way of removing it once and for all? It's hard to get a good in focus picture but I have tried! Thanks

By chance I went to a beauty place today and the nurse there said and lump or bump needs to be checked by a dermatologist. Even though she assured me mine was probably fine I am definitely going to go to my gp for a referral. Mine doesn't look like yours but she was very clear that anything needs to be checked just to be on the safe side.

Ask your GP to freeze it off if they have a cryotherapy clinic. They may hesitate because it's your face but I had one removed that was and it worked a treat.

I had a small lump/spot removed by cryotherapy at a salon. It was fantastic, instantly turned it into a blister which scabbed over and dropped off over the following days. Best feeling ever, I hated that spot and had had it for years. Worth getting it ok’d at the doctors first though.

I have an appointment at the drs on Friday so I will show it her when I'm there if she has time. It wouldn't have occurred to me really, I'm sure it's just broken veins or something like that. Thanks

I think they're called Campbell de Morgan spots BTW.

Thank you for your reply, but mine doesn't look like google images of those spots or cherry angiomas (the same thing?) - mine is flat and not bright red.

I have one too. It appeared when I was pregnant and never bloody went. I had it checked with a gp, it’s fine but would be considered cosmetic so they won’t remove it which is fair enough really. I was just glad that it wasn’t dangerous. The doctor said that lasers are the best thing to remove them but I’m inclined to carry on with my shit ton of concealer tactic.
