Tights and trainers

I've never thought of wearing tights and trainers but saw a colleague with black tights, black trainers and a dress the other day and she looked great. I think this may transform my winter wardrobe! Or is it a big no!

If you saw someone else wearing it how can it be a big no?

Supersimkin2 · 21/01/2020 09:19

It's a yes from me, I saw it at the weekend and it works.

starfleet · 21/01/2020 13:54

Yes. I do this often.

QuimReaper · 21/01/2020 14:07

What kind of trainers?

VivaLeBeaver · 21/01/2020 14:16

I do it all the time.

Very normal.

I wear black Stan Smiths, black and white Veja Esplars, and grey Adidas Continental 80s with black opaque tights, often with a short leather skirt (either black or forest green). I also have nice grey marl tights I wear with midi-dresses and trainers - I find the softer colour works better with the longer skirt if there’s no bare leg gap.

sonjadog · 21/01/2020 21:44

This is what I wear 90% of the time.

It has just never crossed my mind to do it but I think it looks great. I have all black converse and some all black Adidas that I will wear with black tights and a dress now! Thanks for the replies!
