I’m seriously stuck in a hair rut! Currently highlighted with root regrowth every 6 weeks or so.

I’m 39 and went grey in my 20s, so no colour at all is not really an option. I tried to embrace my grey and looked awful.

I’m thinking of going darker with a chunky fringe cut in? Also maybe something with the length.

Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

Your hair isn't thick enough to do a full on fringe. A choppy Bob might be better. Your hair just needs a bit of life.
You're very good looking Smile

I think you look great actually, I wouldn’t change it. Not helpful if you fancy a change, I realise! I think if you go darker you’ll have a worse problem with tinting grey roots. Blonde mixes in well . Maybe just get the ends chopped into a slightly shorter but razor sharp bob if you want to change something? My view is if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

You hair doesn't look particularly thick. I would go chopping a chunky fringe as you will lose too much hair to it. I would think you would suit some deeper lowlights maybe. A bit more colour variation will help make your hair look thicker and will show up waves better if you chose to folks come of the advice to mess it up a bit.

Ahh, thank you all for the lovely comments.

I’ve taken them all on board and the photos, weighing it up, I think for this appointment I’m going to have some light and slightly darker highlights and more of a textured cut, maybe a bit of a fringe.

Thank you all!
