Might get it for a date night soon wondering what others think?

Where do you go for date nights? It looks a bit much for a few drinks or a meal out.

And would it suit my shape? Also what is my shape 😂 as don’t have a clue

well, it is a lovely dress, but I think the point of Artie's comment was that when someone asks if you like this dress, part of the answer is what is the occasion you are going to be wearing it for, and if the dress fits the occasion.
It would look amazing at a do which was formal evening wear, and it would look somewhat ridiculous and try hard going out for a meal in your local high street.

Thankyou for replies I’m going to order it and yes I thought it’s a bit summery too! But I really just want to feel And look nice for my oh for date night, going through ivf at the moment and feeling bloated and frumpy so haven’t made an effort in a while.

It's a lovely dress but that doesn't mean it would suit every kind of date. It's quite formal and bodycon and summery. It would work for a dressed up summer party but not for a neighbourhood restaurant. I honestly think it might make your date uncomfortable for a first date as it's quite flashy. You need to be comfortable on a first date so you can both be yourselves.

Ah sorry I didn't read carefully, it's not a first date. Will your partner be making an equal effort with his clothes otherwise you might look over dressed?

Nice dress but have you ordered from PLT before? In my experience the quality is a bit naff. If it's as nice in the flesh as it looks in the picture then I'm sure you will look lovely in it. You have a lovely figure.

Well, your figure is very nice but I think the dress is going to be extremely revealing on you. If that’s what you want more power to you, but it might be a bit much depending on where you’re going etc. On a practical level I would worry about what bra to wear.

My opinion on the dress itself is that it’s a nice colour but I don’t like the shape. The asymmetric hem is way too exaggerated, it is too revealing to be stylish and I think it would be hard to be comfy (maybe even to sit down) in. I don’t think it’s summery particularly. That is just my opinion though.
