Becca Primers - First Light or Backlight?

Hi,

I had an advent calendar which contained Becca First Light Primer (the lilac one) and I like it so much that I would like to repurchase. However I’ve just noticed that they sell another one called Backlight which sounds good too.

Those who have used both: which do you prefer and why?

I don’t wear foundation so would wear it alone and I also have pale, dehydrated skin.

Also, I’m out of the loop with beauty products thanks to young children so if there are any others which are highly recommended I’m open to suggestions. I’m late 30s though so don’t want anything sparkly.
