Aldi Caviar Night Cream

I’m having a minor panic as this seems to be unavailable in store and online. (The day cream is still available online, but not the night cream in a blue jar.)

This is worrying as

(A) it does something amazing to my eye bags, I was going to have Botox then started using this and didn’t need to; and

(B) it is £6.99 as opposed to £300 (or whatever the La Prairie caviar cream costs).

I’m going on an expedition tomorrow to check other stores in my vicinity.

Has anyone else seen any in stock recently?

If you’ve never used this then apologies, you won’t understand the panic.

If you have then I expect you’ll share my dismay.

Surely they cannot be discontinuing this product? Everyone raves about it, I can’t be the only one.

OP 😡 This is so annoying. I love the caviar range - they did a great serum last year that I got and it has just run out and no sign of it on the website. It's so frustrating as the products are great. Don't understand why they don't have these products permanently in stock.

On the website it does still refer to the night cream as part of the range ( no mention of the serum - sob) so hopefully just a stock issue. I last bought it in October I think from my local store so hope you manage to find some.

I was in Aldi today and they definitely had some in stock. This was in Maldon, Essex.

I also really like it. I do tend to use a cheap moisturiser as I blow my budget on Tretinoin and facial oils and this is very good. Also doesn't sting at all.

I think they had some in my local (Sevenoaks) store today.

princessTiasmum · 19/01/2020 21:14

My local Aldi still has it in, it is really good cream

onanothertrain · 19/01/2020 21:46

My local aldi always has the night cream but recently hasn't had the day cream but my DP got me it from one near his work.

flojo73 · 19/01/2020 21:51

I had the La Prairie skin caviar cream (it was a gift) I can honestly say I noticed no difference between that and the Aldi version!

Boringista · 19/01/2020 22:09

The Aldi stuff is brilliant.

I did a tour around my area today of all Aldi stores. Thank goodness I managed to track some down and bought a few. I’ll go back tomorrow and buy a few more.

This is not helping my hoarding mentality, but needs must! I’m not shelling out £300 for the LaPrairie.

On another train: that’s interesting!

The thing that made me panic was the website saying the night cream was ‘no longer available’.

I’ve not tried the day cream, how does it compare to the night cream?

I've got both the day cream and night cream OP and find them both great as is the serum if you ever see that in stock. The day cream is really light and absorbs quickly so great before makeup etc. Feels much more luxurious than the price. Definitely give it a try. Pleased you managed to find the night cream. I'll have to go on a little hunt myself as it's not in my local one.

Lanaa · 19/01/2020 22:42

It's been out of stock for weeks in my local one. I decided to try theIr new Rejuvalate creams and they're great. Even better than the Caviar ones and only £3.49. I've got both day and night cream and I'm impressed. My skin seems plumper and brighter. Try those instead if you're struggling to find the Caviar.

onanothertrain · 20/01/2020 08:30

I find the day cream ticked than the night cream but still good, I've never seen the serum. I was given eucerin night serum and it is amazing, I'm thinking about switching to their range although it is 4 x the price of aldi.

onanothertrain · 20/01/2020 08:31
  • thicker, not ticked!
princessTiasmum · 22/01/2020 13:53

Plenty on ebay at exhorbitant prices though,
I looked on Aldis website bit only day cream, will try local store tomorrow

Zoflorabore · 23/01/2020 06:06

I bought both the day and the night cream on Monday after reading about them on MN. So far so good.

I got mine at the Liverpool Queens Drive store. No sign of the serum though.
