Contouring for beginners

Evening all,

Can anyone recommend products for someone who wants to give contouring a bash, but is a complete novice? Don't really know where to start!

I do the very basics. I have a Benefit Hoola in the standard shade.
I kinda suck in my cheeks and then using the brush that comes with it apply it under my cheek bone diagonally to about half way down my cheek. If that makes sense? Then I take a fluffier brush and in a circlular motion blend it in.
I also do the same along my hairline on my forehead.
