Best shampoo for oily hair

Can I have your suggestions for the best shampoos for oily/greasy hair please?

I have thin shoulder length hair that if I wash it in the morning it is greasy by evening. When I wake up the next morning there are 3-4 inches of oil from the roots 😭

I have pcos and believe it is a result of this so can't do much about it. I only wash it every other day, so on the second day I'll use dry shampoo and tie it up, but I'd love to find a great shampoo that will help with this.

Please don't suggest washing it even less as I've tried this many times and it never improves!

I was an everyday washer for years. Then someone at work mentioned Elvive Extraordinary Clay shampoo and conditioner.

It's worked really really well for me. Worth giving a try, and often on special.

The Elvive one made my head so itchy which was a shame as it did seem to work. I always thought the clay was just blocking the pores.

I use Tresemme Deep Cleansing shampoo. No conditioner. It's the only thing that keeps the greasiness and lankiness away.

I wash every 3/4 days and apply dry shampoo (Toni & Guy matte effect) every day - before it gets greasy.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm willing to give anything a go!

I have oily hair and I use the Elvive Clay one. Two shampoos when I wash and make sure I get all shampoo out and very little conditioner and every other day hair washing with dry shampoo in between

I’ve got oily hair and also recommend the Elvive clay one. Literally the only thing that’s helped me is getting older, same with my skin :)

Vosene, seriously.

Sorry I just feel I need to clarify my earlier post (wrote it in a rush on the school run) - I wash MY HAIR every 3/4 days. I wash the rest of me far more frequently Grin

Also make sure you apply dry shampoo before the grease strikes. Just after washing, if necessary.

Vosene here too! Then every 3rd day I use Vichy dercos oil control.

Try conditioning first then shampooing 😊 it works for my greasy roots/dry ends days
