designer bag repair

I have a prada bag that is looking a bit old and tatty, has anyone ever used a company that restores designer handbags?
I'm a bit worried about just picking someone off the internet.

I've used a company called The Handbag Spa in Harrogate to repair my Chanel bag - they were recommended by a friend, and I was really pleased with the result. You email photographs of your bag to them, and they'll give you a quote before you send it away.

Louis Vuitton and Gucci had fabulous aftersales support when I needed it - I’m sure Prada offers similar services for repair/refurbishment.

I would highly recommend emailing their client services to explore your options, as I’m sure you’d prefer them to handle your bag refurbishment vs a 3rd party. They will probably ask you to take it into store or email photographs and possibly send the item to their repair centre etc.
