Where to get my ear re pierced

I had them done when I was 16 but now one hole has closed. I see Accessorize does ear piercing, is this generally a good place to go to? Or would I be better off going to a tattoo/ piercing studio, where people might be more experienced? Thanks for any advice.

Personally I would go to a tattoo studio, I find they're much more professional and knowlegable and will answer any questions you have and are happy to have you go back to talk, they also seem to always remember you when you go back in for whatever reason.

Do not go to Claire’s. Just go to a tattoo studio.

I thought mine had closed, but managed to push an earring through by wriggling it. First poked in the front and then back if my ear lobe. Obviously I cleaned and sanitised everything first, applied salt solution for around a week and I've had no problems.

Thanks for the advice. That’ll be a good excuse to walk into a tattoo parlour as otherwise I’d be unlikely to darken their door! @Mistlewoe I have tried several times to gradually push an earring in, but it just doesn’t work, the lobe stretches right back but does not let the earring in. It also hurts a lot.

tattoo studio for definite, I had mine redone after 20 years and they were brilliant. Wouldn’t touch Claire’s with a barge pole.
