What do you think of this jacket?

I’m not getting out and about much at the moment owing to ill health so I feel like I’m not very in touch with what people are wearing! :) I need a spring/autumn jacket (for when I do hopefully get out more!) and am wondering about this one. I tend to think of cord as old-fashioned, but maybe it’s back in?!

Would you wear something like this? Not necessarily this one, you may not want black, but similar. I think that military style jackets always look stylish.

@Iamthewombat Thanks so much for the links! Extremely kind of you to take the trouble! The khaki boohoo one is gorgeous!!! (But sadly sold out in my size! Unless their sizes come up small? I’m normally a size 8, with Boden, M&S, etc. - the boohoo jacket is available in 12.) The mint velvet one is cute but not casual enough... the hush one is maybe slightly too military, with the epaulettes and bulky pockets.

(I just did the boohoo size calculator and it does seem that I’d be an 8, unfortunately.)

This! The jacket is ok, OP. I mean, it's not actively offensive. But it's not nice either. It's just "leggings and flowery tunic and chunky necklace from Fat Face" blaaaaah. 50 shades of nothingness.

I am pale but if I get just the right shade of cream it is very flattering. I have just ordered a cream cord blazer in the Banana republic sale for around £27 but they are sold out in your size. I have had a cream/bone blazer before and it was so useful over black and navy in the spring and summer to lighten up what would have been a wintery outfit.
