Any recommendations for a not too expensive serum with retinol that I can use before my SPF? Has anybody tried facetheory? I'm overwhelmed by the amount out there and don't know which to choose!

I’d recommend to stick to retinol other an evening and try vitamin c of a day.

Retinol is broken down by daylight so it’s best used at night.

Oh bugger, even if I use an spf? I've got a lovely night serum I didn't want to quit

So weird, I started yesterday, can feel a difference already but don’t want to go too hard too fast and have my face fall off. Watching closely for recommendations!

It takes a minimum of 12 weeks but usually 6 months for prescription strength retinoids to take effect, so I doubt you can feel a difference after one go?

I did feel a difference, whether that was the retinol or another ingredient who can say. So doubt it if you like but I also doubt you can tell what another persons skin feels like through the Internet Grin

Try Bakuchiol. I am absolutely loving it, I buy the one from Bybi
