I love the clothes at Toast but they’re way out of my budget. Is there anywhere that does the same minimalist look at about half the price or less?

Cos maybe? Or Arket?

Divebar · 11/01/2020 01:10

Plumo - although cannot say if it’s much cheaper. Some of the shapes may be the same in Arket / Cos but it’s a different feel really... more country less urban.

&other stories which is owned by Cos

Toast do have good reductions in their sales. It’s also worth trying eBay. I’ve just bought a brand new (previous season) skirt for £50, RRP £170.

As well as the shops listed above, Uniqlo is good for knitwear.

Just a warning, I tried &Other Stories and give the materials they used to be awful. CoS seems ok but the quality hooray isn't like toast. It might be worth saving up topp buy some things in the sale so that you have things you really love.

Muji. Their linen dresses are really good.

Also love & other stories and haven't found any probs with materials .. great if you can get them in the sales

I love Toast and agree & Other Stories is a good bet. I have lots of stuff from there and most of it has lasted well.

I don't like Cos at all but I do like Arket.
