Jeans or jeggings

I'm starting to try and wean myself back in to jeans after years of wearing jeggings. I'm struggling with the fact they are not super tight at the ankle, straight jeans almost feel like bootlegs it feels so weird after all this time wearing skinnies/jeggings. Has anyone done this and experienced similar, do you
just adjust?

No advice as I'm looking for the same. I never considered that it might be the the jeggings to jeans transition but makes sense I suppose. I've recently tried jeans from m&s and river island and both are so baggy at the ankle.

The Lily jeans are M&S are very slim at the ankle. I have just made the move... and they are more flattering than jeggings/skinnies.

I wear Topshop Jamie jeans and they are pretty slim on the ankle (on me at least).
