Best thing to do with painful whitehead?

I have a spot on the bottom of my lip which has got a big whitehead on it. It’s pretty painful. Tried giving a little squeeze but it’s not budging. Don’t want to keep squeezing in case it makes it worse. What can I do/put on it to make it less painful and go?

Savlon might help. I find it helps take the 'touchy' pain in spots.

Don't squeeze it! you could try putting a warm flannel on it but it won't pop I'm telling you! I know its sore but its not an ordinary pimple (its a monster spot),

Could you pierce it with a needle to see if that helps it come out

Dh had one a few weeks ago. He did a face scrub after having a hot flannel on first. Then he put some sudecrem on. It took 5 days until it went. Do not squeeze or put a needle in as this could either hurt or scar.

Ok thanks we do have savlon so will use that after hot flannel. Feels like everyone I talk to is talking to my spot, looking at it!

Try not to poke and prod too much (I know its tempting), or you will end up with a sore face and a big scab.

If it’s got a yellow head, I’d stick a clean pin in it.
