I've come to a shampoo/conditioner halt. The Joico duo I've been using for a while isn't working for me.

I'm looking for replacements.

What type and style of hair do you have?
Which shampoo and conditioner do you recommend? And which would you avoid? And why?

TIA Thanks

Michael Van Clarke 3 More Inches treatment is brilliant stuff, much better than Elasticizer on my hair but the MVC shampoo and conditioner from the same range just isn't moisturising enough for my hair.

The first time I tried Olaplex at home it was brilliant but I didn't ever achieve the same results after that first time.

I've tried Mane and Tail and I was underwhelmed, it dried my hair and I wasn't that keen on the smell either.

Noughty is tempting, as are the OGX range. In the past I've used Aussie and it has been good-ish.

Has anyone used the John Frieda detox and repair or the Palmers ranges?

I always love the smell of Aveda hair products, particularly the cherry. Does anyone have experience of using it on dry hair?

The green Kerastase, is that the resistance, the balm or the calming one?

I'll take a look at the mega soft Redken and the Virtue ranges too.

Has anyone had success with Kevin Murphy or Brigeo?

My hair type sounds similar to yours. Faith in Nature Coconut Conditioner and Shampoo., also their Fragrance Free Conditioner.

I do a CWC (condition-wash-condition) routine

Got some travel size Body Shop Strawberry Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner as a stocking filler at Xmas. Made hair very silky and glossy using same technique. Will probably pick some up next time I’m in town as an alternate.

I have thick curly coarse hair. It's fairly long to my back bra fastener.
I swear by Aveda blue Malva shampoo and their cherry almond conditioner.
Smells so gorgeous I could eat it....obviously I haven't ( or have I ?? Grin)

I have fine hair but loads of it, mid length with greasy roots and dry ends, it an be prone to breakage too. I use Kerastase bain divalent shampoo (which is for greasy roots and dry ends) with Kerastase resistance anti usure conditioner. Also love the kerastase elixir ultime rose oil too.
