Can anyone recommend a good one?
I used to use one from Clinique but they discontinued it.

I use Max Factor Clump Defy - it has a silicone brush and doesn't leave a huge amount on your lashes so I find it works best with my contacts. You may have to buy a few and try them out though, I was given a Chanel one which was £££££ and absolutely didn't get on with it whereas I wear the Max Factor one almost every day, never had any problems.

Oopsy41 · 08/01/2020 14:21

I use no7 extreme length sensitive and don't have any problems

ExpletiveDelighted · 08/01/2020 14:25

I've never had a problem with any mascara and contacts - what's the issue?

Thedeadwood · 08/01/2020 14:26

I really like Lancôme Hypnose.

ConstanceL · 08/01/2020 14:46

I've worn contacts for years and have worn many mascara brands no with problems. Just find one that suits your eyelashes or do like I do and go for whatever is in special offer at Boots :)

Fairylea · 08/01/2020 14:50

I’ve worn contacts since I was 13, I’m now 39 and never had an issue wearing whatever mascara I pick up.

Coughy4u · 08/01/2020 14:51

Umm i never had to use anything special... am i missing a trick?!

Wonkybanana · 08/01/2020 15:29

Another one who's never had a problem with any mascara I've ever tried, and been wearing lenses for years.

ExpletiveDelighted · 08/01/2020 16:00

Thinking about this, is it a problem if you put your lenses in after you've put make-up on? I've never done that as I can't see to put the make-up on without them but not everyone is as short-sighted as me.

therewerefour · 08/01/2020 16:10

I'm confused. Are you putting your lenses in after you've done your makeup? If not then what difference does it make, your lashes dont touch your lenses

SleepwalkingThroughLife · 08/01/2020 16:16

I know if you get a bit of mascara in your eye throughout the day, with lenses it will irritate your eye a lot. So it's better to not have waterproof mascara.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 08/01/2020 23:23

Tubing mascara works best for me

Elllllle · 08/01/2020 23:30

I found (albeit cheap) tubing mascaras a nightmare with contacts as the bits fall in and irritate.

I actually prefer waterproof so it doesnt smudge into the eye or really smudge proof formulas. Diorshow overcurl, la roche posay volumising, and Ilia (very subtle, natural type mascara) work best for me.

TantricTwist · 08/01/2020 23:49

Eyeko lash alert works well. It's a tubing mascara so doesn't flake so won't irritate.

lenalove · 17/01/2020 17:19

Clinique Chubby Lash works well for me!

Ineedanamechange79 · 17/01/2020 17:25

Max factor masterpiece.

Marcipex · 17/01/2020 17:29

Rimmel Waterproof, never had any problems. I’ve used it for years, since it’s available in our nearest supermarket.
I’ve worn it for running in the rain many many times.

Moodymmai1 · 17/01/2020 20:15

Thanks everyone. Your comments are really helpful. I have hard gas permeable lenses and some mascaras seem to smudge onto my lenses. I'll try some of the ones you mentioned Smile

@Moodymmai1

Have you tried any yet? I also have gas permeables and am looking for a mascara.

Moodymmai1 · 02/02/2020 01:50

I've tried one from Clinique but I'm not too sure about it
