Help, I need a new wardrobe!

I've lost a lot of weight over the last year (drastic diet change plus the divorce effect) and most of my clothes are now too big as a result. I know, most people would be pleased. But it's expensive, and I don't know how to dress my new shape!

I can afford to buy the basics but what should I focus on to accentuate my figure? I'm tall, with long legs, a small waist and small boobs (my least favourite part of my body) I did have a mum tum but it seems to have disappeared, although still lots of excess skin when I bend over. I'm also dating, so need nice things to wear. I was a size 12/14 but am now 8/10 it seems...

I'm thinking: a fitted wool coat, nice tops, belted dresses? I get very stuck on footwear, and my job is not very formal so the same as out of work clothes really. Mid range budget, so under 100 for dresses and under 40 for tops. Oh and I'm a summer skin colour (dyed blonde and blue eyes)...

Please help a clueless woman Blush

I think you should accentuate your figure, show it off!
You can get some body fitting dresses.
It sounds like you could wear faux leather leggings or jeans with your long legs.

My suggestions for basic foundations:

Body conscious dresses
Black or blue skinny jeans.
Distressed Mom jeans
Chelsea boots or boho ankle boots
(Your suggestion of) fitted wool coat
Fitted shirt
Faux/leather biker jacket
Fitted t-shirts
Fitted long sleeve tops

I'm sure you'll get some great ideas.

Have a look on Pinterest and if there is someone whose style you admire steal their look!Wink

What style do you like? Do you dress quite young or mature?
