Magnetic Eyeliner/Lashes - Anyone

Thymelord · 07/01/2020 10:24

I am being bombarded with facebook adverts for these at the minute! Has anyone tried them? Not the magnetic ones that clamp over your real lashes, but the ones that come with a magnetic eyeliner that the lashes stick to. The reviews seem excellent, but I am very dubious that they are real! Has anyone tried these?

I haven’t but I’ve been wondering the same thing. They look really good, but you never know if it’s fake marketing/fake reviews.

I bought some as I've lost my eyelashes due to chemo. I couldn't get them on properly, they looked wonky and like they were going to fall off.

Admittedly I'm fairly cack handed at these things, maybe someone with experience of using false lashes would have less problems.

LollipopGestapo · 07/01/2020 14:22

@Thymelord
I've just remembered I have a spare set of them as I accidentally ordered 2 pairs. If you want to try them out DM me your address and I'll post them to you. They are still in the sealed box.

I bought some magnetic ones from amazon on Black Friday . Absolute nightmare to get on . These were the ones with a magnetic top and bottom . They made me rage and are stuffed in a drawer.

I tried some last year- absolutely useless and a complete waste of money, they kept falling off despite numerous attempts.

Shitonthebloodything · 07/01/2020 20:20

I really like them! They're the only lashes I've ever been Able to get to work for me. Only downside is that the eyeliner is really, very messy. I use the Lola lashes ones in rose quartz.

Thymelord · 08/01/2020 08:28

It's the Lola ones I was looking at. Pleased to hear they are good. It's quite a lot of money for me on my budget so I was reluctant to spend unless they were going to be good!

That's very kind of you Lollipop!

You're welcome @Thymelord I'm happy to send them to you.
PM me your address and I'll get them in the post.
I hope they work for you Smile

The magnet top and bottom ones are rubbish, they just slide off. Have got a pair with the eyeliner but I haven't worked up the courage to try them yet!

lottieleo · 09/01/2020 07:14

I've used the eyeliner magnetic ones from amazon
Worked really well, only had them on a few hours so can't comment on longevity

Sansastark45 · 12/03/2020 20:55

I bought a set of amazon -you get 3 pairs ranging in dramatic ness and a pot of the magnetic liner and I absolutely love them ! I put my normal liner on and then do the magnetic line as I cant keep it neat otherwise!but they last all day and then at night I peel them off and put them back in the pack ! 4 weeks and I've worn the same set every day ! Game changer for me xx

CMOTDibbler · 12/03/2020 20:59

I've been looking at these as I have no luck at all with false eyelashes (and extensions are far too high maintenance for me), but couldn't work out if the eyeliner/lash thing was going to be just as bad
