Smart bag that can fit A4 folder

I'm after a smart looking bag that can fit an A4 folder in it, preferably with a zip to close it all up, but I don't know if such a thing exists! Even more ideally, it could be carried as a crossbody bag too, but I can't seem to find anything that is big enough.

Would appreciate any pointers if anyone thinks they've come across somewhere that might sell them!

I have asked this before. The typical answers seem to be Knomo bags (practical, but not exactly beautiful) or something fugly from Amazon/EBay. Or, the alternatives are Longchamp Le Pliage or a Mulberry Bayswater.

Of course, it’s all a matter of personal taste but...

Try demellier. Have three, lasted beautifully and were started to fit laptops - so should fit a4

Yes a laptop bag would work.

For a lower budget Mia Tui are good and many big enough for a4.
Knomo is more pricey but really good.
I have an old fashioned satchel.

A budget would be helpful. I have a couple of leather tote bags with cross body straps bought from TK Maxx - one is Osprey and Osprey's main website has a similar workbag in their sale for £145, although no zip closure.
If you look at the department store websites - they have tote bags at various prices - John Lewis has cheaper ones & Selfridges the more expensive ones like Longchamps Le Pliage. I think if you want cross body rather than backpack then you probably need to look at tote bags.

I know Cath Kidston can be seen as a bit naff but this isn't patterned and fits a folder www.cathkidston.com/all-collections-/shadow-flowers-canvas-backpack-1033372?ctry=GB&gclid=Cj0KCQiA9dDwBRC9ARIsABbedBMuYsW4rLC0dOZAWL_6esC4TPQhdpi6Qt_s4Lufc2nq5_YCr061sfcaAuqiEALw_wcB

Thank you! Budget is a bit fluid in the sense that I'll probably get it from ebay and am willing to spend up to £100, which will limit me to used items but hopefully good quality ones.

I've been looking at the Osprey bags and liked the tote ones but couldn't find one that looked big enough - I'll check again.

I'm off to google all these new names!
