Sizing help for Sorel’s boots please

Am looking to purchase a pair of Sorel boots in the sale. Does anyone know if the youth sizes are the same as the adult sizes? I’m a 5 and it looks like the youth sizes go up to a 6

Thanks

I have the kids ones in a 4 and am usually a 3 or a 4 depending on style.

I have some adult Sorel boots, I’m usually a 4 but had to get a 5 if that helps

I ordered my normal size but sent them back as my toes were too close to the end.

Thanks all that’s really helpful

Yes I bought the youth version much much cheaper!
Actually I’m a 6 but boys ones go up to 6 I think.
Little warning ... the first time I stepped out in them (in ice/snow) I slipped really badly flat on my bum. The soles took ages to become ok for ice, which surprised me.

Sorel boots come up small and as PP wrote, have poor traction (grip on slippery surfaces). The faux fur lining may give you athlete’s foot. I’m baffled that they have so many fans.

I think they’re probably really good in places like Canada, where they’re popular, as they do function well in deep deep snow (keep feet very warm and dry). Mine have wool lining which is removable but I agree about fake fur sweaty fungal feet issues. Bleurrghhh.
They’re not designed for icy snowless mornings like we have in the UK at all... they’re heavy, cumbersome and just useless on ice. Like wearing sweaty moon boots on an ice rink!
The cheaper alternatives like hush puppies / crocs lined boots are far better imo

I love my sorels, I'm a 7 -8 cos of wide feet, I got a 7 and they were fine

I’m a 5 / 5.5 and my 6 is about right. But I use them in Scandinavian winters - proper snow. Rarely use them here in the uk.

Thanks for all the feedback. I ordered them just to keep my feel warm, and be vaguely stylish
